With years of experience in support of growing businesses, Lou is dedicated to coaching and developing his clients' understanding of their financial situation. Lou is a highly practical and a focused advisor, equally adroit at navigating intricate tax strategies as explaining those strategies in understandable client-friendly terms.
Lou gained his experience as a professional financial advisor from his executive posts at several hospitals in California and Colorado. Under Lou's leadership, Coastal Communities Hospital in Santa Ana quickly gained a reputation as a leader in facilities utilization; able to monitor and manage financial trends like no other comparable facility. Through amazing results and word of mouth, Lou's reputation grew in the healthcare industry to include business planning expertise and tax research. His pro-active, persistent and fundamental approach to planning has him recognized as the "I've got it covered" technical expert on the Your Source team.
Lou holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, where he graduated with honors. After post graduate study in accounting at the University of Arizona, he became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998. Lou is a member of the AICPA as well as the Arizona Society of CPAs and Healthcare Financial Management Association. He served on Rose Medical Center's Community Service Committee in Denver working directly with Habitat for Humanity and Young Americans Bank.
Married for nine years, Marie shares her husband's passion for independence and owns her own business. Lou and Marie have two children: seven year old Lou who is an aspiring artist and part-time soccer player, and five year old Alexa, who is an aspiring drama queen who loves all her various dance classes. An avid basketball fan ? both as a player and a spectator, he also enjoys playing golf; subscribing to the theory that the more swings the better!
