Roger Nusbaum leads Your Source Financial's investment process and research team, manages the firm's asset allocation models, and is Chief Editor of the firm's market commentary.
Roger has been working in financial services for over 20 years. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Roger was founder of Nusbaum Capital Management, a boutique asset management firm. Roger spent most of the 1990's as an institutional equities and options trader at Charles Schwab and Co.
Roger has been recognized by many in the investment management industry for his expertise in portfolio management. Roger has been regularly interviewed by the financial press, trade journals, and television news shows. He has also had numerous technical articles published and has been quoted in a number of professional trade journals, newspapers, and consumer finance magazines. He appears frequently on CNBC Asia as a market commentator.
Roger, his wife Joellyn, and their three dogs live just outside of Prescott, Arizona in an old mining, mountain community called Walker. Both Roger and Joellyn volunteer as wildland firefighters for the Walker Fire Department, having just finished their second fire season. In addition to firefighting, Roger also serves on the board of directors as the treasurer.
After growing up in Newton, MA, Roger attended San Diego State University where he received a BA in economics. He first moved to Arizona in 1990 to take a job with Shearson Lehman. Shortly after moving to Arizona he met Joellyn on a blind date. They got married in 1993. They bought their house in Prescott in 1998 and moved there full time in 2002.
